I lost my direction and the flock went away.
I turned back and there was nothing,
not even a weary torn feather dropping down to the ground.
I was far away from my nest,
my tree and my friend squirrel I used to keep nuts for.
I looked at the time and big fire ball was as red as rabbit's blood I saw while reaching to this point.
It was late.
Too late to go home and too late to look for my flock.
"I will fly far away from you with those swift birds".
I remembered how I used to threaten my lover.
Was he scared to lose me?
Can anyone know the fear of losing without being lost?
I was lost in a new city and also in my thoughts.
Where do I go now?
Will that squirrel miss me today? Or will he simply be happy to see the nut I kept for him?
I hear a loud noise.
It is just as I heard when I lost my mother while we were flying to get some water.
Will I die?
Who will inform my lover and friend?
No.
I cannot, I shall not.
I saw the big fire ball again.
It was going back to its nest too.
I have nowhere to go.
"I will fly miles to find you and take you home."
My lover always said when I threatened him of flying away.
Will he come to find me??
There are crows on a nearby tree.
They won't let me rest.
I need to keep flying.
But until when??
Wait, what's that?
An egg?
No, its a half cracked egg shell in the sky.
My heart is full of joy!
Squirrel once told me that my lover wanted to take me there.
But it was in my fate to find our dream nest.
I might fly to it with a bougainville.
Make is as beautiful as I can.
And tomorrow I fly to my lover and take him here and never go back, anywhere.
And now i know why i was lost,
to find what my lover dreams of.
To build a home and not a nest..
So, I am flying, flying and flying...
