Persistent tiredness, weakness, pale skin, breathlessness, dizziness, poor concentration, and frequent illness may be signs of anemia. In pregnant women, anemia can increase the risk of complications for both mother and baby.
According to Anaemia Mukt Bharat, nearly 57% of women and 67% of children under 5 in India are affected.
Anemia can have many causes - nutritional deficiencies, infections, chronic conditions, and genetic disorders like sickle cell disease and beta-thalassemia - each requiring timely attention and care.

We were proud to participate once again in the FTR4H - Future for Health - a major medical fair - held in New Delhi from January 29–31, 2026, continuing our journey following last year’s participation.

It was an honour to connect with solution providers, NGOs, and healthcare leaders working with hemoglobinopathies. Our Product Manager, Sreyali Poojari, presented Gazelle, highlighting its role in rapid, on-the-spot hemoglobinopathy detection at PHCs, CHCs, and small-scale laboratories, making diagnostics accessible even in hard-to-reach settings.

With this year’s strong focus on AI innovation and implementation in healthcare, Gazelle attracted significant interest for its practical, field-ready approach. We sincerely thank the organisers for the opportunity to present our technology at this high-impact healthcare forum. We look forward to strong collaborations ahead.

At , themed “Beyond Traditional,” we were honoured to have Dr Nikhil Ningurkar emphasise the importance of Point-of-Care (POC) technologies in hemoglobinopathy diagnosis and endorse AI-enabled microchip-based electrophoresis & FIA for on-the-spot accurate Hb variant & ferritin detection in small labs, private clinics, reducing dependence on costly centralised systems.

It was a pleasure engaging in insightful professional discussions and live demonstrations of Gazelle, our POC solution for screening and confirmatory testing of sickle cell disease, beta thalassemia, and ferritin -bringing precision diagnostics closer to those who need it most.

Glimpse from our recent screening drive at Devram Laxman Bhoir College, Kolshet, Thane, organised as part of a Rotary Club initiative in collaboration with , using the device for rapid, on-site testing.
A total of 52 students from 11th & 12th Std were screened for and , followed by an insightful awareness session by Dr.Prashant Khadke, who highlighted the importance of early diagnosis, carrier detection, and preventive care.
This initiative was further supported by Rotary Club Amara, Thane and others in accordance with End Thalessemia Now whose commitment toward eliminating these genetic disorders is truly commendable.

We are grateful to the college faculty, Rotary team, and all partners for their support and enthusiastic participation in making this awareness and screening program impactful.
