Today, I had the privilege of conducting a Music Therapy Workshop for the wonderful women at Smt. Kumudben Dwarkadas Vora Industrial Home for Blind Women, Andheri (W) — organized by the Responsibility Forum (SRF), the official social club of University, Mumbai.

From rhythm exercises and musical quizzes to human sound wave creation with Indian classical music, guided imagery meditation with tongue drum & rain drum, and joyful sing-alongs and a gratitude circle in the end, the session was filled with warmth, laughter, and soulful energy!

The women’s enthusiasm, positivity, and radiant smiles could light up an entire room! A heartfelt thank you to the SRF volunteers for their immense support and for making this initiative so special.

Truly, no better way to begin the Diwali 🪔 celebrations — with music 🎶, connection, and gratitude. 💖

I am honored, humbled, and grateful to share that I received the Well-being Category Award at the 6th Edition of The Restore Awards, organized by the . Thank you very much, Rachna Chhachhi, The Restore Awards and respected Jury members!

This recognition is not just mine—it belongs to every client, patient, caregiver, and community I’ve had the privilege to work with. You remind me every day that healing is never solitary—it’s a shared journey of courage, connection, and compassion.

A heartfelt thank you to the Kindness Practice Foundation, the Restore Awards® team, and the esteemed Jury Members for acknowledging the role of Music Therapy in restoring health, dignity, hope, and emotional wellbeing.

It was also a joy to participate in the “Walk for a Cause” at the conclusion ceremony, which was a beautiful reminder of unity in purpose.

I move forward deeply inspired, with immense gratitude, and with a renewed commitment to continue using music as a gentle yet powerful tool for healing and wellbeing.

Some questions lead to more questions... some questions unravel assumptions.... while some questions, when asked right, lead to introspection and an inward journey of self-discovery!

That is exactly what happened here 😊 Recently, during a podcast interview, Karthi Sake, founder of Ryvive.co asked me - If there was a song that could describe my journey towards my current self and inception of Aaroha, which song would that be?! And as I pondered over that, I realized that my transition began with a dream to do something meaningful and then came in a lot of hard work and persistent effort, which was then bestowed with support from family and friends, their love and their blessings !❤️ However, one more factor that also played a huge role in the transition was a bit of my innate Craziness 😄

And I dedicate it to each and everyone of you who were and are part of my journey, my life, my madness and those who inspire me and those who help me, be ME 😊
