A man or a woman can live without food for three months. Can survive three days without water. But max three minutes without air and u r a goner.

Yet most people when addressing health and wellness will end up talking about diet and hydration. Maybe an exercise system or protocol. But nobody thinks about an activity which we do 22000 times in a day. Breath. We are powered by breathing. All systems in our body are dependent on it.

So much so... Our physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual existence is interlinked with our breath.

Funny part is.. People often confuse breathwork with pranayama practices. Our sages had a better understanding of it.

Breath is prana moving through your body and if u move it erroneously then it is prana leaving your body.

Currently not in best of shape or mood to entertain the wokery around me. Have seen even the best of them be damned out of negativities around. Succumbing to either glitz and glamour or convenience which serves nothing in the end.

Truth is like a bomb. It explodes in your face. i am good with IEDs. Just that the search was and is without any protection because i want to test the limits.

Why not address breath to begin with???

Studying sleep patterns, stress and human physiology from yogic perspective. Especially the breathwork and meditation. I almost always have to come with contradictory or at least my own ideas to connect the dots as far as laws of life , nature and universe.

This dialogue is a good enough in your face suffix to understand stressors, inate need for coping mechanism and need of sleep to survive it all. .

I actually understood value of quality sleep in recent times. I cherish every bit of it. Exceptional situations bring best of those. We humans are a beautiful design that self repairs and corrects itself for greater good.

Like a rainbow or a holy celebration.

Beautiful isn't it?

Learn to sleep like a baby. Or watch someone sleep like one. It is one and the same.

Todays discussion from हठयोगप्रदिपिका notes as far conducive ( साधक ) and cntradictory (बाधक) situations for yogic practices gave me an opportunity to open up a pandora's box.

As per scholars; following conditions are to be fullfilled to become a yogi.

U should be a citizen if a righteous country or rule.
( oh.. Hell yaay )

Your food should be such to optimize yogic practices.
( can manage so long as my bae does not order an extra portion and nobody forces me to eat vegan 🤔)

There should be no disturbances.

Your place of dwelling should be free from fire , water and rocks.

Your practices should be done in solute and minimalistic places.
( where world does yoga in a studios. With makeup, attire and all. R we missing out on something ? 🙆)

Just kidding folks.. Open to discussion and disclosures.

Toughest part is me missing my coffee. I dont get to date her as often as i would. But in a way.. Every second with her dark and brown both version give me wisdom lines to survive the day.

Being one of the only man amongst a group of 23 who claims to be a yoga practitioner is a tough task. Especially when twenty of them are girls. Six expats who know about the ancient history, texts and scriptures and are willing to share, promote, acknowledge information. Even my abstract philosphes too.

Like me making statements like

Patanjali was the greatest yoga influencer of his time. He did not invent yoga as such. He systematized it into a practice.

Dharma is not about religion but laws life, nature and survival.

Machindranath and gorakhnath are like shahrukh and salman who actually created physical presence and popularity of yog.

Second difficult thng satvik veg food. Good part is i am allowed to skip meals.

Third taxing thing is laundry and utensils. But then have lived life out of backpacks and footlockers.

Best lectures are that on anatomy and phisiology because i get to ruffle a few feathers there yet thankfully reiterates my theories on human health and wellness.

making friends and breaking bread with those who can and will. Russians, isreali, austrians, americans and brits too.

Going clean and staying clean is an added bonus.

I am sharing this one as a salute to intelligent design of us humans and abilities betowed upon us that makes a an apex species . good and bad of it.

We may not be as good as hanging and climbing as our other primate brothers but we still retain and maintain such as part of our genetic design. Make note. Not by the way of training and superspeciality but just by means exposure, need and experience and exploration.

We all have that ability to hang and hang on to things. We use our digits and thumb to use tools. Create stuff and as recent as it may be .. Scroll on cellphones.

But why i may ask we avoid doing such a game changing, healing, enjoyable and intelligent movement ?

Various studies along with my own interpretation of need and benefits of hanging are out here periodically to reiterate why we all should hang.

Be a kid. Find the fountain of youthful energy,hang out and hang on.
