Five Everyday Stretches with

1. Butterfly 🦋
A great way to open up the inner thighs, glutes and core.

2. Downward Facing Dog
Is there any better yoga asana? This is such a great posterior chain opener

3. Low Lunge
This one is my favorite way to open up the quads and core

4. Pigeon pose
When your lower back and glutes need some love, this is your go to stretch

5. Reverse Lunge
Oh my hammies! I haven't met a hamstring that doesn't love this one.

4 variations of or that you can practice if you’re a beginner! When I first started practicing , I looked straight up like in my squat and actually, it was quite a painful position for me. Who else can relate?

Growing up in America, we don’t ever really and the only person that you’ll find doing this were the catchers on the baseball/softball field - and damn you’ve got to be strong to sit in a squat for as long as they do!

Lately it feels like this year has been about bringing me into a spiritual submission. Layers upon layers of letting go. Surrendering after surrendering until there is nothing left to surrender. Being forced to stay put, stand in stillness and sit and stew in my mess, with no where to go and no other option but to work through it. But the more I work through it, the more I realize that I am in the process of creating space, that there is beginning to become freedom, where there’s always been clutter and confusion; that accepting and making peace with the way things are is a better way to live than chasing after the way things could be. But looking at this picture, a girl can dream right? Man, India, what I would give to be able to travel home right now...

Ashtanga For All is a 30Hour Yoga Alliance certified YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider®) led by Tarini Menezes and Puja Amin. 

In this 4-week online course, Puja & Tarini will break down the entire Ashtanga Primary Series with modifications, breath awareness and focus. Each week you will receive online course content that can be experience at your convenience. Every Sunday (12pm – 3:00pm) we will have a virtual live session where we will have an asana practice followed by a discussion on our topic of the week. In our Sunday virtual sessions, you will also have the opportunity to ask any questions related to the course and yoga. In the case that Sunday 12 – 3 doesn’t work for you, you will have access to the recording until the end of the course. 

This course has been designed to take you beyond the asana, for you to learn about yoga and the . We aim to equip you with enough awareness of the series to be able to cultivate a home practice that is akin to practicing under a teacher. 

What is so unique about this program is that we will also be provide practices that compliment the Ashtanga Primary Series, and address common injuries and modifications for EVERY body.
