Cataract surgery due for you ? Well there are lots of lenses to choose from but if we see the basic lens design it is three kinds that we have

Monofocal IOL : works well for distance

Trifocal IOL : works well for far near and intermediate but has issues for glare and haloes

EDOF IOL : works well for far and for intermediate distances and not so well for near so you may need to wear reading glasses sometimes
No glare and haloes with this one

All lenses are available as toric options for patients with cylindrical powers
