PREVENTIVE CARE FOR YOUR PETS (PART 1)
Preventive care is by far the best care one can give to their pets.
Being regular with routine vaccinations, deworming, external parasite control can save your pets from many preventable diseases. Ask your veterinarian for the best possible vaccination protocol for your pet.
While necessary vaccines (core vaccines) are a must at a stipulated interval, non-core vaccines should be given only if its is necessary.
Parasite control, both internal and external can help your pets great deal to avoid contraction of many deadly diseases. Hot and humid climate is just perfect for external parasites (ticks and fleas) to grow around your pets immediate surroundings. Proper and regular preventive measures such as grooming, shampoos, spot-ons, sprays and collars etc can help great deal.
Deworm your pets regularly, remember some of the internal parasites could be transmitted to human beings! Regular deworming of the pets and the family members, following hygienic practices such as proper disposal excreta of your pets and practising personal hygiene can help menace of internal parasites.
