Success story of Santosh Petkar (Age 55) - Stopped 3 tablets of BP, Reduced 18 kg, reduced triglycerides from 391 to 85, moved from prediabetic to non-diabetic, eGFR has increased by 21

👉 His weight was 88 kg and now it is 70 kg

👉 He has stopped following tablets which he was taking for Blood Pressure
1)Tazlock CT 40 - Telmisartan 40mg + Chlorthalidone 12.5mg
(Combination of 2 tablets)

2) Inzit 4 - Benidipine (Calcium channel blocker)

Note - First tablet Tazlock CT 40 is a combination of 2 molecules i. e. Telmisartan & Chlorthalidone. Although he was taking one tablet but in reality it's a combination of 2 tablets (1 गोली में 2 गोली)

After stopping above-mentioned tablets his blood pressure is completely normal now.

👉 His Triglycerides has reduced from 391 to 85 (Reduced by 306) and his VLDL has reduced from 78 to 17 (Reduced by 61). His Lipid profile report is completely normal now.

👉 He reduced his Hba1C from 6.1 to 5.4. He moved from prediabetic state to non diabetic state.

👉 His eGFR (Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate) has increased from 72 to 93.
His Kidney functioning has improved. This rate has to be above 90. If it goes below 15 then you require Dialysis.
Kidneys filter your blood by removing waste and extra water to make urine. The glomerular filtration rate (GFR) shows how well the kidneys are filtering.

👉 He has reduced his uric acid from 9.9 to 7 (Reduced by 2.9)

👉 *Pranayama: Not merely regulated breathing but ‘Essence of Life’*
Pranayama undoubtedly is an extremely beneficial practice but at the same time one has to be very careful while practising Pranayama.
Why? What is so worrying about Pranayama?

*Hatha Pradipika – 2.16 gives us a cautionary warning about the same,*
*प्राणायामादियुक्तेन सर्वरोगक्षयो भवेत्।*
*अयुक्ताभ्यासयोगेन सर्वरोगसमुद्भव:।। २.१६ ह.प्र.*

*It means that proper practice of Pranayama can get rid of all diseases and disorders but it will lead to manifestation of all diseases if not practised properly.*

It is termed dangerous as it directly deals with the life force – Prana, the vital energy and it is said in Hatha Pradipika that gaining control over Prana is like taming a ferocious wild animal. Therefore, one should learn it under proper guidance of a Yoga Teacher. Pranayama is like a double edged sword and if not handled properly, can prove dangerous and fatal too. One should not therefore, experiment on his own or play with this vital Prana energy.
