Vishesh Jupiter Hospital’s Joint Replacement Patients Create History at Indore Marathon 2026.
At the Indore Marathon 2026, held on Sunday, 1st February 2026, around 200 patients who had undergone knee and hip replacement surgeries at Vishesh Jupiter Hospital successfully completed a 5-kilometre special run from Rajwada to Nehru Stadium.
These participants were once battling severe joint pain, difficulty in walking, and limited mobility. But after successful surgeries, advanced medical techniques, and regular rehabilitation, they proved that life does not stop after joint replacement surgery, it moves forward with renewed energy and confidence.
Before the marathon, Vishesh Jupiter Hospital organised a Marathon Expo and Kit Distribution Program. On race day, the patients ran with powerful messages such as “POST KNEE SURGERY – ON THE MOVE” and “PAIN OUT – MOBILITY IN”, spreading strong awareness across society.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Arvind Rawal, Senior Orthopaedic Surgeon, said:
“Watching these patients run today is proof that with modern joint replacement surgery and proper post-operative care, patients can return to a fully active life. There could be no better way to break fear and misconceptions around joint surgery.”
This marks the third consecutive year that Vishesh Jupiter Hospital’s joint replacement patients have participated in the Indore Marathon, sharing their inspiring recovery journeys with the public.
