It’s common, normal, and almost every girl experiences it.
Here’s why:
Before your period, your hormones activate your sebaceous (oil) glands.
That extra oil blocks pores, leading to:
• Whiteheads
• Blackheads
• Little painful zits
This is called PMS Acne, and it is completely normal.
But check for PCOS if you have:
• Very frequent breakouts
• Irregular periods
• Thick hair on chin/chest
• Sudden weight changes
• Hair thinning
To control period acne:
• Wash face twice a day
• Avoid harsh scrubs
• Drink enough water
• Don’t pick pimples (it scars!)
• Use clean pillowcases
• Balanced diet helps a lot
Remember: Pimples do not make you “less beautiful.”
They are just a phase of your cycle.

Here’s the simple truth:
If your flow was light, an overnight pad is usually safe.
But if your flow was heavy, wearing the same pad too long can cause:
• Moisture buildup
• Bacterial growth
• Rash and irritation
• Bad smell
• Discomfort
General hygiene rule:
• Heavy flow → change every 4–6 hours
• Light flow → overnight pad is okay
• Always wash and dry the area after changing
• Avoid scented pads (they irritate the skin)
• Wear cotton underwear for airflow
A missed change doesn’t automatically mean infection.
Just keep your area clean and dry — that prevents most problems.

But here’s the science:
You cannot make your period come early.
Your menstrual cycle depends on:
• Hormone timing
• Ovulation
• Stress
• Sleep
• Growth phase (puberty)
During teenage years your cycle is still settling — so it naturally comes early, late, or on random days.
No food, juice or trick can “force” an early period.
Papaya, pineapple, haldi milk — none have guaranteed results.
What you CAN do is make your cycle healthier:
• Sleep on time
• Manage stress
• Eat regularly
• Exercise moderately
• Check for PCOS if cycle is always irregular
Let your body grow at its own pace.
