Pregnancy Diet fallacy - Consuming during pregnancy makes delivery easier?

It is a very common practice to make pregnant women gorge on ghee and even drink it in the last trimester or during the ninth month to ensure vaginal lubrication and a normal delivery. However, this is not backed by any scientific evidence.

You may include ghee in your diet during pregnancy as it is a healthy source of fats. However, it is important to include it in just the required amounts, as consuming it in large quantities could lead to weight gain and obesity, which can lead to other complications in the pregnancy. Also, it becomes very difficult to get rid of excess fat after childbirth...

Know your Carbs to Manage Diabetes

When you eat or drink food that have carbs(carbohydrates), your body breaks those carbs in to glucose which raises the level of glucose in your blood. Your body uses that glucose to keep you active throughout the day.
But when it comes to managing Daibeties the carbs you eat plays a very Important role.
When someone's glucose is too high its called hyperglycemia meaning not having enough insulin in your body. When someone with low blood glucose is called hypoglycemia meaning not consuming enough carbs
Carbs we consume impact blood sugar
The goal is to choose carbs that are rich in fiber, vitamins and minerals and low in sugar, sodium(salt) and unhealthy fats
By following this simple food habits can help to maintain Diabetes and keep the disease at bay..

Indian Gravies are Fattening?
I had planned a diet for my client Usha.
She likes eating gravies once or twice in a week an she is less fond of other veggies. In her diet plan I mentioned her to eat Indian Gravies too. She was very anxious if by eating gravies she might not loose weight and instead gain back.
I just made her explain..
Indian gravies are healthy an not fattening. But it all depends on How we cook.
Make regural garvies at home . Keep the base very simple add Onoin, tomatoes, ginger n garlic, yoygurt, garam masala , Coconut.. curry leaves which is healthy option..
It can be unhealthy if those gravies are cooked with lot of oil, cream, cheese, cashewnuts which is unhealthy option.
