World Television Day is celebrated on 21 November every year. The world’s first electronic television was created by a 21 year old inventor named Philo Taylor Farnsworth. According to the UN, this day highlights the major role that television plays in daily life by presenting different issues that affect people. Televisions can be found in billions of homes around the world. But 100 years ago, nobody even knew what a television was. In fact, as late as 1947, only a few thousand Americans owned televisions. World Television Day stands as a reminder of the power of visual media and how it helps in shaping public opinion and influencing world politics.

Remembering the Queen of Jhansi, Manikarnika on her Birth Anniversary who popularly known as Rani Lakshmibai or Rani of Jhansi. She was one of the leading personalities in the revolt of 1857 in India. To defense Jhansi from the attacks of the British army she even developed a force of ebellions, women were also a part of this force. It is firmly believed that though India lost the first war of Independence, but Rani Laxmi Bai sowed the seeds of liberty and courage in the Indian people. She taught us a lesson of determination and courage.

On this day in tech history, Bell Telephone introduced the first commercial push-button telephone on November 18, 1963. The push-button telephone is a telephone that has buttons or keys for dialing a telephone number, in contrast to having a rotary dial as in earlier telephone instruments. The push-button phone replaced the rotary dial phone, which had been in use for decades. Using dual-tone multi-frequency (DTMF) technology provided "touch-tone" service that would become the worldwide standard for telecommunication signaling. The system uses audible tones for each of the digits on the push-button keypad, with specific frequencies assigned to each row and column.

He was a prominent member of the famous 'Lal Bal Pal' firebrand trio during the independence movement. His fierce brand of patriotism and potent vocalism against the British rule earned him the title of 'Punjab Kesari' or the Lion of the Punjab.His death was commenced as Martyrs.

Remembering a great Scholar, Educationist, man of action, Madan Mohan Malviya on his Death Anniversary. He was graduated from the Calcutta University in 1884 and completed LL.B. in 1891 from Allahabad. He is most remembered as the founder of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) at Varanasi which was created under the B. H. U. Act in 1915. He was given the title of 'Mahanama'. He was posthumously conferred with Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award on 24 December 2014.
