As a Diabetes and Obesity Consultant with over 15 years of experience, I’ve noticed a troubling trend: pharmacies selling prescription medicines like Ozempic (semaglutide), Mounjaro (tirzepatide), and Wegovy (semaglutide) without medical supervision. This practice is not only illegal but also puts your health at risk. Even educated individuals are falling for aggressive sales tactics and social media influence. Remember, only you and your doctor are responsible for your health.

If you are considering Mounjaro, Ozempic, or Wegovy for diabetes or weight loss, please pause and consult a doctor first. These medications are powerful and can have side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, stomach pain, fatigue, dizziness, allergic reactions, gallbladder problems, pancreatitis, kidney issues, vision changes, depression, and suicidal thoughts. Some risks are higher if you have certain health conditions or a family history.

These medicines require a prescription for a reason. Your doctor will assess if they are right for you, monitor for side effects, and guide you safely. Buying them over the counter is unsafe and not recommended.

Semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy) and tirzepatide (Mounjaro) offer hope for diabetes and obesity, but only with proper guidance. The real secret is knowing when to start, when to stop, and how to maintain results—with your doctor’s support.
