What a Perfume Can Teach You About Love.....

It might be overly ambitious to start a treatise on love as experienced through our interactions with perfume. A more modest attempt would be to recount how a most detested perfume can turn into a loved one and what this can teach us about the appreciation of perfumes - and a little bit about love too.

What you need is time and letting go of the will...

In other words, fragrances have something to teach us about preconceived aesthetic and moral judgments and can help us grow up to be slightly different versions of our selves, to the point where one day, what we hated becomes what we love. This means that some scents have the power to change us or reveal us to ourselves.

Making Fragrance Last Longer:-

There are a few tricks to help your fragrance last longer. For instance, a scent will fade faster when skin is dry. Applying fragrance-free moisturizer to your body is an excellent preparation for applying fragrance, and will help you get more bang for your perfume buck.

You can also help your perfume to go the distance by applying some petroleum jelly to your skin, and then applying your scent on top of that. The perfume droplets will cling to the petroleum jelly - rather than sinking into your pores - which can reduce or eliminate the need to reapply fragrance later in the day.

Layering products from the same line is another effective way to make a fragrance last. You might use the scented body gel, treat skin with the body lotion, and then spray the eau du parfum spray on top. The combination of products will help the scent to maintain fullness and extend throughout the day.

Find your perfect perfume:

Don't just wear something because it's a designer perfume. Make sure you absolutely love the perfume's top notes and bottom notes. To find out if you like the bottom notes, spray a little of the perfume on the back of your wrist and wait 20 minutes and smell the perfume again.....will help you to select fragrance of your test.
