Group was initiated and formulated as Icon Heart Institute in June 2009, by Dr. Anuj Bhasin MD, DM (Cardiology), Dr. Bijoy Kutty Medical Director M.S., M.Ch (CTVS) and Dr. Sanjit Paul CEO & Managing Partner(MBA Hospital Administration, PGDMLE, BPT) with the concept of providing quality heart care at an affordable price to all especially the weaker sections of the society. Our group has initiated and pioneered super speciality heart care to the population of Kalyan and Dombivli through a state of art Heart Care Center under the roof of "ICON HEART INSTITUTE" at Manpada road, Dombivli. Within a year of its establishment Icon Heart Institute came up with its sister concern, the "PLATINUM HOSPITALS" AT Mulund (W) which was inaugurated by The Honorable Governor of Maharashtra, Shri K Sankharanarayanan and MLC Shri Charan singh Sapra. It started as a 52 bedded Multi- super speciality hospital standing true to its motto of providing affordable super-speciality care to citizens of Mumbai, where the cost of medical treatment is always prohibitive. As a result of continuous support from the community and with quality oriented clinical results coupled with a High Patient Satisfaction ratio the group has expanded the available specialities and increased the bed strength from 52 to be a 100 bedded Multi Super-specialty hospital. Continuing its effort in providing quality healthcare services, Group expanded to an another company as Platinum Hospitals Pvt. Ltd In 2012, which ventured into Navi-Mumbai for creating affordable Heart Care & to fulfil the need for emergency Heart care services round the clock at Sai Snehdeep Hospital, Koperkhairane.
