A calm mind is the strongest foundation for any goal.

At work, stress, deadlines, and constant multitasking can overwhelm your mind. Mindful breathing is a simple yet powerful way to reset your mental state, increase focus, and improve productivity without stepping away from your desk.

Here are three easy mindful breathing techniques you can use at work:
1. Deep Breathing: It is the simplest and fastest way to calm your mind during busy workdays
Repetitions: 5–10 breaths.
Frequency: 2–3 times a day

2. Anulom Vilom (Alternate Nostril Breathing): Balances the nervous system, reduces stress, and boosts concentration.
Repetitions: 5–8 cycles.
Frequency: Once or twice a day.

3. 4‑7‑8 Breathing Technique: Lowers anxiety and improves focus during demanding work situations.
Steps: Sit comfortably, keep your back straight. Inhale quietly through your nose for 4 seconds. Hold your breath for 7 seconds. Exhale slowly through your mouth for 8 seconds.
Repetitions: 4–6 cycles.
Frequency: 2–3 times a day.

September is here, and so is Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2025! The Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2025 is a nationwide initiative dedicated to combating malnutrition and promoting holistic child health and nutrition. Nutrition is the cornerstone of health, development, and equality. Launched in 2018, Poshan Maah is celebrated for a month starting in September as part of the larger Jan Andolan (people’s movement) to promote nutrition literacy, healthy practices, and behaviour change. Continuing its nationwide movement for better health outcomes, India is observing the 8th Rastriya Poshan Maah (National Nutrition Month).
