Body Centered Mindfulness & Meditation Experience
As the great German philosopher Nietzsche once wrote:
“There is more wisdom in your body than in your deepest philosophy.
But look at what we have made of Our body, but it is never too late!”
We as a species have objectified our bodies.
And its high time we start to understand and respect our bodies’ wisdom, intelligence, and profound connection to the truth of reality.
Our Body is a sacred doorway to the Soul and the Wild Spirit of Existence.
But as always, seeing our bodies as sacred is not easy. There are layers of inherited beliefs, prejudices, wounds, childhood traumas, social programming, etc that cut us off from our ground.
Hence Our Body takes a role of a storehouse of trauma. We may forget an abuse, but the body does not and like shock absorbers, our bodies absorb the wear and tear of emotional experience. We may defend against it, but our body takes the heat.
Slowly, over years, the patterns of stress and trauma accumulate. This trauma manifests as muscle tension, mysterious aches and pains, stiffness, and endless other illnesses.
Experienced any of these, and wondering where its coming from??
Hence unpacking, exploring, and releasing what’s within our bodies, is crucial – it is a core element of healing and transformation. When an experience is fully grounded in the body, that’s when we come out of our minds and come back into our core instincts, and deeply felt senses.
So where do we start?
