Just a Piece of mind to lenskart....................
I am an Optician and I have a complaint. It is understandable that you have borrowed a whole lot of money and need to meet your business goals. But to achieve them, do you need to resort to defame every highly qualified and experienced Optician in this country by saying that they give sub standard lenses and services ?
Most of the best Optical practices in this country are managed professionally by Optometrists trained at the best institutes in the country . They have earned the trust of their clients over the years by adopting the best technology and practices to benefit the user's needs.
Yes, there will always be different levels of products and services available across all sectors, but have you ever heard any offline service provider claiming in their advertising that all websites only sell fake and dubious products and hold on to your money instead of providing a genuine return ? No? Even though my personal experience with a lot of e-commerce
companies augurs that.
Please do not mislead the people by making such claims when professionally speaking you should not even be dispensing glasses online .
How do you mark the pupillary centre before dispensing glasses online ?
How do you ensure that the frame is a good comfortable fit on the wearer before selling it to her?
How do you make sure that the base curve of the contact lens that you are " selling " and not fitting on a young person the suitable one for his cornea?
Before you start making these fraudulent claims of inaccuracy against professional opticians, please look within.
How many returns does lenskart get for bad fitting and poor vision through glasses ?
How many people have complained of shoddy quality of frames and lenses that you sell?
Sir, we are all trying to best utilise the economic resources we have . No single optician can afford to put in edging equipment worth 2 cr.
Yet, we are well supported by international labs like Essilor , Zeiss and Hoya to provide cutting edge fitting technologies .
Yet, what an Optician provides is personal understanding of his client's need and the best solutions for that.
By picking on the least qualified and equipped optician as an example , do you think you are providing an honest picture to your audience ?
We would appreciate if you joined the true goal of providing high quality vision solutions to every Indian and not just use negative advertising to further your financial goals.
