🧠 What is a Seizure?
A seizure happens when the brain sends mixed signals for a short time.
This can cause shaking, staring, falling, or loss of awareness.
It is not contagious and not always dangerous — but first aid is important.

✅ What to Do When a Seizure Happens
• Stay calm and note the time
• Gently lay the person on the floor
• Turn them on their side
• Remove nearby objects
• Place something soft under the head
• Loosen tight clothing

❌ What NOT to Do
• Do not restrain or hold them down
• Do not put anything in the mouth
• Do not give food, water, or medicine
• Do not panic

🚨 Get medical help if
• The seizure lasts more than 5 minutes
• Another seizure starts immediately
• It is their first seizure

💜 Awareness creates safety.

*Teaching Fractions*
📘 CRA Method for Teaching Fractions (Remediation)

Struggling with fractions?
The **CRA(Concrete - Representational - Abtract) approach** makes learning **clear, concrete, and confidence-building 🌱

🔹 **C – Concrete**
Children **touch & manipulate** real objects (roti, paper folding, fraction circles) to understand *equal parts*.

🔹 **R – Representational**
They **draw & shade** fractions—bridging hands-on learning to visuals.

🔹 **A – Abstract**
Finally, they work with **numbers & symbols** (½, ¼, ¾) with meaning—not memorization.

✨ **Why CRA works in remediation:**
✔ Builds strong concepts
✔ Reduces math anxiety
✔ Supports learners with LD, ADHD & ID
✔ Moves from *doing → seeing → writing*

📌 *Concept first. Numbers later.*

✨Play Therapy✨
Goal:Building willingness to go to school for a 5-year-old child 🌈

Through play therapy, we gently support the child in understanding, accepting, and feeling safe about the school environment. Every strategy is child-led, developmentally appropriate, and rooted in emotional security.

🧩 Strategies Used:
We use visual scheduling to help the child see what their day looks like—home, school, play, and return - reduces stress around the unknown. Predictability builds confidence.

Through story narration, we introduce school concepts using simple characters and relatable situations. Stories help the child process fears, understand routines, and create positive associations with school.

🌟Empowering Growth: Overcoming Dyscalculia with BVerve 🌟

This inspiring 14-year-old is turning challenges into achievements!💪
With consistent therapy at BVerve (2023–2025), she grows from struggling with number concepts to confidently solving multi-step math problems.

Today, she reads analog and Roman clocks, understands measurements, profit & loss, and interprets bar graphs, pie charts, and line graphs 📊🕒. Through our Edu Brain Program, she strengthens attention, spatial skills, and perceptual processing—unlocking faster, deeper learning.

She now independently makes notes, highlights key ideas, and integrates technology by prompting ChatGPT, navigating Google Maps, and designing creative invites on Canva 🎨📱.

Here’s to resilience, progress, and limitless potential! ✨

At we use evidence-based cognitive training activities to strengthen the brain’s core learning skills.
This video showcases the Induction Pattern Game from the BrainRx program — an engaging activity designed to build thinking, reasoning, and learning efficiency in children.

The induction pattern game helps learners identify patterns, apply rules, and generalize concepts — skills that are essential for academic success and everyday problem-solving.

👀 In this video, you’ll see:

🧩 Pattern recognition and rule discovery
🧠 Development of inductive reasoning skills
💡 Strengthening logical thinking and concept formation
⏱️ Improved attention, focus, and mental flexibility
📚 Foundational cognitive skills that support reading, math, and comprehension

💡 For parents: See how structured brain games can improve thinking speed, focus, and learning confidence.
🎓 For educators & professionals: Observe how induction-based tasks support executive functions and higher-order reasoning skills.

✨ At BVerve, cognitive training goes beyond practice — it builds the thinking skills children need to learn, reason, and succeed.

🌟Internship At Bverve🌟

An enthusiastic Psychology Intern from Dubai joins BVerve to deepen her knowledge and gain hands-on exposure through therapeutic observations. 🧠✨

During her internship, she learns about various Neurodevelopmental Disorders and Specific Learning Disorders, gaining insight into assessment-led and intervention-based approaches. She is also exposed to BVerve’s brain development programs such as Edu Brain, BrainRx, Rosner and many more programs understanding their purpose and application.

Through guided observation, she learns how therapists implement practical strategies to improve attention, impulse control, motor coordination, emotional regulation and overall cognitive functioning—bridging theory with real-world practice.

A meaningful step towards building confident, skilled, and compassionate professionals in the field of psychology 🌱

🌟19 year old Progress Journey with BVerve🌟

The journey shows how consistency, patience, and the right support lead to meaningful change 💪✨

When he joined BVerve, he faced challenges with attention, eye contact, and initiating or maintaining conversations. He also found it difficult to understand basic math concepts and perform simple calculations.

Today, he confidently initiates conversations, greets people, and engages in back-and-forth interactions. Academically, he understands addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, reads clocks, solves time-based problem sums, and comprehends what he reads—explaining it clearly using appropriate vocabulary and language.

His learning now extends to units of measurement and data handling. He reads bar graphs, pie charts, and line graphs, and can plot graphs using Excel. He independently writes his thoughts on Google Docs, sends emails, and navigates Google Maps with ease.

He is also building strong technology and AI skills—using ChatGPT with correct prompts to gather information and Gamma AI to create presentations.Through PPTs on general knowledge topics, his awareness and confidence continue to grow.

Equally important is his progress in behavior regulation, focus, social understanding, and self-awareness. With structured strategies and a visual calendar to track progress, He shows improved impulse control, better attention, and growing independence .🌱

🌈 Play Therapy in Action🌈
Goal: Building sibling bonding between a 3-year-old and her younger brother 🤍

Through play therapy, we gently guide the older sibling to understand, express, and regulate her emotions in a way that feels safe and natural for her age. Play and stories become our tools to teach life skills that go beyond the therapy room.

We focus on emotional regulation by helping her identify feelings—happy, angry, sad, or excited—and name them with confidence. Instead of reacting through actions like pushing or crying, she is encouraged to use simple sentences such as “I want a turn”, “I need help”, or “I feel angry”.
This shift from “pushing”to using words supports positive sibling interactions.

Through reading storybooks, she learns that sharing, caring, and helping are what make us kind and good human beings. Role-play moments show her how helping her little brother builds connections, trust, and warmth between siblings.

When big emotions like anger show up, we teach a calming routine she can remember and use independently:
✨ Close your fists
✨ Take 5 slow breaths in and out
✨ Go to your room and play quietly

This predictable calming strategy gives her a sense of control and safety, helping her settle before emotions escalate.

🌟 Small steps through play lead to big changes in relationships.
At BVerve, we believe play is not “just play” — it is learning, healing, and bonding. 💛
