5.Early discharge after Surgery & Transfer to Sushrut Hospital for post op recovety.
6.See the patient thro.Removal of drains,Removal of Neck line,Post operative Wound care & Removal of Sutures.
7.Management of postoperative complications after radical Cancer Surgery like Pain,Nausea,Fever,Oozing at drain site,Weakness.
8.Referral to a Competent Senior Oncopathologist for correct histopath diagnosis,grading & Staging.
9.Referral to a Competent,Senior Sonologist for Diagnostic & prognostic Sonographic evaluation.
10.Referral to a Senior expert in Medical Oncology for advise on the correct adjuvant therapy suited for a case.
11.Conselling on the side effects of Chemotherapy & preparing a patient psychologically to undergo Chemotherapy.
12.To Start & conduct Chemo(usually 6 cycles)under the guidance of a Senior Medical oncologist.
13.Monitoring & Treatment of the Side effects of Chemotherapy.
14.Follow up & monitiring of the disease (Radiological & laboratory)during the entire course(6 months) of Chemo.
15.Most of this care is carried out at Sushrut Hospital(other than the actual Major radical surgery).
So Visits to a Tertiary care hospital are minimised.(limited to 4 visits).
