Sudden one-sided facial drooping can often be Bell’s Palsy, a temporary facial nerve paralysis that improves with early treatment.

Key signs: difficulty closing one eye, a drooping mouth corner, reduced forehead movement, and changes in taste or sound sensitivity.

Red flag:
If the forehead is spared or there’s arm/leg weakness, think stroke and seek emergency care.

Most cases recover well with early medication + targeted physiotherapy (facial retraining, mirror work, massage, and eye protection). Slow, quality movements always work better than forcing the muscles.

🤎Physio Mee offers personalised Bell’s Palsy rehab and facial retraining. Book your session today.

The Big Toe: small joint, big impact.
At Physio Mee, we treat countless patients with heel, ankle, or hip pain; often tracing the root cause back to poor big toe mobility.

When your big toe can’t extend properly (ideally 45° or more), it disrupts your entire movement chain—leading to issues like plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, and hip discomfort. Modern footwear and sedentary habits limit natural toe motion, creating stiffness and compensation patterns that affect how you move.

✅ Start with simple daily drills to restore your range.
✅ Address the root, not just the symptoms.

Let’s rebuild your foundation at Physio Mee because better movement begins at your feet.

Morning stiffness happens when your joints stay still for hours and your muscles relax overnight, making those first few steps feel tight or heavy. Factors like sleep posture, stress, and low activity can add to it, especially around your back, hips, and knees.

Gentle morning mobility, hydration, and consistent daily movement can help loosen things up faster so you start your day feeling lighter and more comfortable.

☎️ Visit Physio Mee for a customised mobility plan that actually works, your mornings are about to feel brand new.

You’ve been thinking about getting your pain checked for weeks… so let Physio Mee be the one to actually say it: it’s time.

Whether it’s that stubborn back ache, the knee that “only hurts sometimes,” or the shoulder you keep ignoring, you’ve already had the whole conversation with yourself in your head. Now bring it to someone who understands the body, the patterns, and the why behind your discomfort.

Physiotherapy isn’t just for when things get unbearable.
It’s for when you’re ready to move better, feel better, and finally do something about the problem instead of waiting for it to get worse.

☎️ Your body has been whispering, let’s fix it before it starts shouting. Book your session with Physio Mee today.

The Medial Meniscus: Structure & Function
The medial meniscus is a vital stabilizer of the knee joint, secured through multiple anchoring structures:

🟤 Firmly attached to the joint capsule and medial collateral ligament (MCL)
🟤 Connected to the posterior oblique ligament and the semimembranosus tendon
🟤 The posterior horn anchors to the tibial plateau and links with the PCL
🟤 The anterior horn attaches near the ACL and connects to the lateral meniscus via the transverse ligament

These connections allow the medial meniscus to:
✔ Resist excessive tibial translation alongside ACL & PCL
✔ Absorb and transmit axial loads
✔ Support smooth knee motion
✔ Act as a secondary restraint for stability

In short, the medial meniscus is essential for knee integrity, injury prevention, and joint performance.

At Physio Mee, we specialize in knee pain treatment, meniscus rehab, sports physiotherapy, and orthopaedic rehabilitation.

Medial Ankle Pain isn’t just a sprain.🦶🏻

The inner side of your ankle is home to a complex network of joints, ligaments, and tendons, all of which can contribute to pain or dysfunction if not assessed properly.

Some common (and commonly missed) conditions we see at Physio Mee include:
▪️Medial & posteromedial ankle impingement
▪️Talonavicular joint synovitis
▪️Deltoid ligament sprain (just 5% of ankle sprains!)
▪️Tibialis posterior tendinopathy
▪️Spring ligament rupture
▪️FHL tendinopathy (often misdiagnosed as plantar fasciitis)
▪️ Navicular stress fractures
▪️Os naviculare (seen in 20% of the population!)

Understanding the real source of pain is key to avoiding chronic issues and getting the right treatment. At Physio Mee, we go beyond the surface to diagnose and treat the root cause with customized rehab plans.

☎️ Book your consultation today and let’s get to the bottom of it, step by step.

At Physio Mee, we believe your feet deserve more care than they get. These simple exercises can help improve mobility, relieve pain, and support your overall posture. Stick with them, you’ll feel the difference before you know it. Save this post as your monthly foot care reminder!

1. Toe Stretch: Use a band to gently align your big toe, perfect for reducing tension and correcting alignment.
2.Ball Rolling: Roll a ball under your foot, heel to toe. It boosts circulation and eases plantar fascia tightness.
3. Pain Point Release: Locate tender spots, press with your thumbs for 20–30 seconds while moving your toes. It helps break down tight tissue.
4. Toe Splay: Use your fingers to gently separate your toes, improving foot flexibility and releasing shoe-related stiffness.
5. Top Foot Massage: Massage between toe bones to release tension and promote better toe spread.

☎️ Book a foot assessment with us at Physio Mee and let’s take better steps, together.
