Lately we are hearing about various fungal infections , and to be true these aren’t new as they were very much present before COVID too..
There are a number of good bacteria & fungi in the environment and our body and without them our body cannot carry out the basic process of digestion .
In healthy humans these fungal species don’t cause infection , just that one needs to use antibiotics and steroids judiciously.

The thick muscle fibers was causing a gap between the two front teeth . Have treated the muscle fiber with soft tissue laser. Dental lasers provide excellent hemostasis. Soft tissue removal is very precise and predictable. Stitches and periodontal packs was not required . Also the patient was very comfortable with the procedure and did not require any post operative medication , there was no bleeding, swelling or post operative pain which is a great advantage of choosing laser for this procedure.
