Tuna Salad Recipe 🥗

Preparation Time: 15mins
Number of Serving: 2 person

Ingredients:

Veggies:

4-5 Lettuce leaflets
1 medium Orange Bell pepper
1 medium Cucumber
1 medium Carrot
1 small Beetroot
2-3 mini size Turnips
1 small part of celery stick
1 medium size Tomato (deseeded)
You can add more vegetables if you like

Lemon juice, Salt and Pepper as per taste

Tuna Mixture:
1 can of Tuna (completely drained from water or oil containing in the can)
3-4 Tblspn yogurt
1 tspn Garlic powder

Topping:
Few Peanuts
Few pomegranate seeds
Some Sesame seeds
(or any nuts and seeds you like)

For Dressing:
I'm using low carb version of sweet and sour pomegranate sauce which is available here but you can use any sauce as you like options can be mustard sauce, chilli or tabasco sauce etc or you can simply add olive oil

Tip: Dilute your sauce with 1-2 tspn of water if you find your store bought sauce is too thick

Method:

1) Start by chopping all the vegetables into bite size peices

2) Transfer it into a huge bowl and add lemon juice salt and pepper

3) Now Drizzle your salad dressing generously and mix everything really well

4) In another bowl add yogurt and empty Tuna can into bowl of yogurt and add garlic powder, mix all of the three things well

5) In a serving bowl divide the salad into 2 equal portions and add half of the prepared Tuna mix on the top of the salad

6) Decorate the bowl with some nuts and seeds and drizzle some more dressing if you want

This healthy and Super Tasty Salad is ready!!

P.S- (This salad is great option for those following ketogenic diet just replace the pomegranate sauce and seeds with olive oil or feta cheese)
I usually eyeball the measurements while cooking but I tried to be as specific as it was possible 😉

✨Wish you all a wonderful 2021🎊

Stay Healthy and Stay Happy.

Hello Everyone,

Felt like sharing with all of you this simple and basic Fruit Salad Recipe.

Number of Serving: 2

Ingredients:

1 medium Pear
1 medium Orange
1 medium Banana
1 medium Kiwi
Handful of Grapes
Handful of Pomegranate
Few drops of Lemon juice
Salt and pepper as per taste
1 tsp Sugar/honey (optional)

Method:
Peel and Cut all the fruits into bite size peices.

Season with freshly squeezed lemon juice, salt and pepper.

You can add sugar/honey if you want but I avoid because fruits already have natural sweetness and adding extra sweetness will just add on extra calories.

Lastly mix everything very well and Enjoy this delicious healthy salad and say goodbye to those sugar cravings!!

P.S- You can use whichever fruits you like and are available locally but always try to opt for seasonal fruits over frozen fruits.
Just mix and match and make your own version.

Let me know what other recipes you would like to see in the comments below.

Stay healthy.. Stay happy😊

And have a great weekend!!

1. KEEPS YOU ORGANIZED.
Diaries helps us to organize our thoughts and make them doable. You can record daily events, to do lists, thoughts and feelings about certain experiences or opinions.
It is practically impossible for us to do everything in one day so dividing your work and Writing daily events every day will help you keep record of everything that you did and everything that you aim to do in a systematic and organised manner.

2. HELPS YOU SET AND ACHIEVE GOALS
A journal is a good place to write your goals, ambitions, aspirations and new resolutions.

3. RELIEVES STRESS.
Writing down your feelings helps you to “brain-dump” your anxieties, worries, frustrations and pains. This can help you to reduce and release any stress which you have accumulated overtime.
Most of the time we are not comfortable talking about these things with people maybe because we are very conscious or our dear ones are too busy. A good way to relive such stress is to write it down exactly in the way you would narrate it to your important person.

4. ALLOWS YOU TO PAUSE AND REFLECT.
Our fast moving lives can become even more busy as we start loathing ourselves with more responsibilities which only makes us feel the pressurised as others have high expectations from us.
Journaling is a good way to help us stop, take a step back and reflect on our actions and ourselves. We can self-reflect on gratitude or what good or bad we did today and write it in our journal.

Your journal is the best place to start exploring your creative mind.

Low carb fruits

Some low-carb diets specifically say to avoid fruits. This is because fruit tends to have a higher carbohydrate content than most vegetables, due to its higher amount of naturally occurring sugars.

But these sugars aren’t all bad — for most people, in appropriate amounts, they can be healthy without going overboard on carbs.

The three types of sugars found in fruits are glucose, fructose, and sucrose.

If your health or medical conditions does not allow you to have any form these sugars then you may have to give up on fruits But if not, you can likely find a way to fit fruit into your low-carb diet.

Some fruit have fewer carbs per standard serving, mostly due to their higher water, or have fewer absorbable carbohydrates due to their high fiber content which are often referred as net carbs.

So go ahead and enjoy your favorite fruits while dieting and keeping your calories in check..
