The National Commission for Allied & Healthcare Professions (NCAHP) has released an important update: From the 2026–27 academic year, NEET appearance will be a basic eligibility requirement for many Allied & Healthcare undergraduate courses, including fields related to physiotherapy and rehabilitation sciences.

Prof. Yagna Shukla’s statement is a landmark in Indian physiotherapy history—transforming ambiguity into clarity, subordination into recognition, and silence into an empowered professional voice.

स्वास्थ्य सेवा महानिदेशालय ने 24 घंटे में विड्रो किया रोक लगाने का आदेश, ऐसे में अब पूर्व की भांति फिजियोथैरेपिस्ट नाम के आगे लगा सकेंगे डॉक्टर, लेकिन नाम के पीछे उन्हें लिखना होगा "पीटी" यानी फिजियोथैरेपिस्ट, दरअसल, नेशनल कमीशन फॉर एलाइड एण्ड हेल्थकेयर में प्रावधान है की फिजियोथैरेपिस्ट को नाम के आगे डॉक्टर और पीछे "पीटी" लिख सकते है ये बिल दोनों सदनों से पारित होने के बाद राष्ट्रपति द्वारा हस्तक्षर होकर पुरे देश में लागू हुआ है इस लिए ये एक कानून के दायरे में आता है इंडियन एसोसिएशन ऑफ फिजिकल मेडिसिन एण्ड रिहेबिलिटेशन और IMA की आपत्ति को देखते हुए स्वास्थ्य सेवा महानिदेशालय ने एक अपील की थी की फिजियोथैरेपिस्ट के डॉक्टर लिखने पर लगाई थी रोक, जिसे अब लिया गया वापस ||
