I was a cabin crew for 9 years living abroad, when health and emotional setbacks brought me to yoga. I gave up my NORMAL LIFE and immersed myself in the sadhana of self exploration and the beautiful journey with yoga.i have been a martial artist since the age of 8yrs.. from karate,tai chi to kalaripayattu so transition to yoga was an easy one,the peaceful warrior within me prevailed:) I have had the privilege of connecting with yogis who have parted their experiences and knowledge with me and enabled me to personalize my practice. Yoga to me is just not a journey anymore, it’s the essence of my life. The practice has connected me to stillness, the breath has connected me to my presence and my meditation to my silence. Vandana has completed her Basic and Advanced Teacher’s Training Course from the Yoga institute,Mumbai and been a faculty in the 1mnth TTC,Yoga Institute for 2yrs. She has done Clinical Yoga and Ayurveda from Haridwar complete with shatkarma practices of internal cleansing through Yoga. Vandana was facilitated the title of Yoga Shiromani(grade A) by Sivananda Ashram(Neyyar Dam). She has done workshops in Vinyasa Flow and Ashtanga Yoga(New York). She has studied Energy Medicine,EFT and does healing sessions. Studied Accupressure under Dr.Raj Gulati and is a qualified massage therapist from Wat Po,Thailand(general thai/foot reflexology). She has also trained in Kalaripayattu(kerala martial arts) and Tai chi.

Starting class with pull ups before our vinyasa flow has been a fun progress..Katherina couldn’t even do one pull up when she started and now look at her go🥰it’s great to see my students have breakthroughs in their practice..

Starting in elephant pose gajasana-feet parallel to each other shoulders and hip in the same line in line with your knees.. drop your hip down in a squat and lift it to your knees.. do not stand up fully and keep your quads engaged.. exhale as you go down in hell as you come up, do this 20 times.. and tell me how it feels
