A total of 19 students (BPT 8th Semester โ€“ 14, BPT 7th Semester โ€“ 5) attended the program conducted in two phases from 12th March to 29th March 2026 and 1st April to 19th April 2026. The training provided valuable exposure to real-time clinical settings, enabling students to observe and assist in physiotherapeutic interventions for muscular dystrophy and other neuromuscular conditions.

Students gained hands-on experience in hydrotherapy, positioning techniques, and use of tilt tables, while also learning assessment methods, exercise therapy, respiratory care, and the use of assistive devices.

Overall, the training served as an enriching experience, bridging the gap between theory and practice and strengthening professional competence.

We are grateful to IAMD, Solan for permitting our students to get such an enriching clinical exposure at their institute.

Under the visionary leadership of our ๐‡๐จ๐งโ€™๐›๐ฅ๐ž ๐•๐ข๐œ๐ž-๐‚๐ก๐š๐ข๐ซ๐ฆ๐š๐ง ๐’๐ข๐ซ, ๐ˆ.๐“.๐’ โ€“ ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐„๐๐ฎ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐†๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฉ, ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐€๐ซ๐ฉ๐ข๐ญ ๐‚๐ก๐š๐๐ก๐š , a Guest Lecture on the topic โ€œ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐‘๐จ๐ฅ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐ก๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ฉ๐ฒ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐š๐ž๐๐ข๐š๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐ฌโ€ was successfully organized by I.T.S Institute of Health & Allied Sciences on 15th April 2026.

The session was conducted by renowned physiotherapist, Dr. Arzoo Bala, Founder & Director of TICKLES Child Therapy Centre, Noida, who shared her valuable knowledge and clinical expertise in the field of paediatric physiotherapy. With over 15 years of experience in child development therapies, she provided deep insights into the assessment, management, and rehabilitation of children with developmental disorders.

The lecture began with the welcome of the guest speaker by Dr. M. Thangaraj, Principal, I.T.S IHAS. During the lecture, students were introduced to Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT), Sensory Integration Therapy, and advanced rehabilitation techniques for conditions like Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, and Down Syndrome.

The interactive session, along with practical demonstrations using Swiss balls, cones, and other aids, provided a hands-on learning experience and strengthened the link between theory and clinical practice.
