Friends--with lord shiva's blessings we have completed 2 years of our Intensive trauma Unit.I came here with only one dream and that was to start a world standard ICU in Muzaffarpur.When we started the ICU our aim was to provide quality care all 24 hrs.How good your ICU is decided by what happens in your ICU at 3.30 am in the morning(whether you are providing the same level of care even at odd times).Like most times I went to Baba Garib nath and asked for only one blessing--please take care of my pts,and with his blessings we started.We added Tele icu with Dileep Raman and his team.He was in cleveland clinics USA and my biggest lust with him was that his team will ensure international standard of icu care.The contribution of cloud team has been absolutely phenomenal.It has been amazing journey to say the least.we have celebrated success and cried multiple times on death of patients.We have tried to provide that care in a very budget friendly environment and still not compromising in quality.In this journey I would like to thank all those who have contributed in our endeavour.
First I remember my father who instigated the attitude of fighting spirit--when the going gets tough......
Second I thank Prashant Hospital and shashank sekhar for having faith and confidence in me and for literally allowing me a free run.
Third I also remember with great honour that I have walked with two great teachers--Piyush Mallick sir(the greatest achievement of my life is that he loved me most ,I will never meet a greater soul than him--sirjee aisa koi din nahi jab main aapko yaad nahi karta----crying while writing this) and Shiv Kumar Singh sir who have been pillars of strength for me.words are so feeble and meaningless to describe their contribution in my personal and academic career.
Fourth-To all my staff and managers--Kanhai Singh,swetank, Pankaj,Amit, Vinay Tiwari, Ananat Shyananm,and all the other nursing staffs--you people are the real hero.i am absolutely nothing without your love affection and hard work.
Fifth--i thank Dr Deepak Karn,Dr Atish Kumar,Dr.siddarth shankar,Dr suresh kumar, Dr Anshu Agrawal.i must mention here the help and guidance of late Dr.Amreshwar Rai sir(sir,we miss you!!)
Lastly I must thank my wife and mother who have to wake up every time a call comes at 3 am in morning or I came late night or even early morning.they have ensured no hindrance what so ever in my professional career.i have one regret though that my kids deserve far more time than what they are getting now.
Let lord shiva continue to guide me.on this occasion I announce a quality health care system absolutely free in my villege in due course of one year or so.the process has already started.i will start it on my father's name.
