Dear All,
With a heavy heart we would like to announce that this years Tri Thonnur is not happening.
We did seek all permissions for the same along with the Thonnur Swimathon event itself to fast track things. Also most of the partners / vendors were given a heads up about this event post the Swimathon.
However since this is the inaugural year for IRONMAN 70.3 Goa, the efforts involved are incredibly high and the core Yoska team is fully engaged with the same.
Safety and experience of participants are of utmost importance to us, so the core team has decided not to take up Tri Thonnur since we are unable to focus 100% on this.
Since the intention was never to drop Tri Thonnur for this year, we held on to the hope till now. This has not been an easy decision for us, but we believe this is the right thing to do given our current circumstances.
We are committed to grow Thonnur events to foster the Triathlon and endurance community in India, and so we will plan ourselves better for 2020.
We will certainly revisit the calendar of events and plan appropriately.
