Newly admitted PG students from J. S. Ayurveda College, Nadiad, visited the AYUSH Mela at Bajkheda Vala Hall near Santaram Temple. The event featured the District Collector, District Ayurved Officer, and local officials. Prof. P. U. Vaishnav, Director of PG Studies, guided the students during their visit.

At the mela, students explored stalls showcasing medicinal plants, raw drugs, and Panchakarma procedures, as well as yoga demonstrations and community health programs. They gained valuable insights into different AYUSH systems.

Students from various specialisations, including Kayachikitsa and Panchakarma, participated actively and found the visit inspiring and beneficial for their future clinical and research work.

On Day 13 of the PG Transition Curriculum program, the morning session featured Dr. Parvathi G and Dr. Ponnulakshmi, who conducted a visit to the Clinical Skill Lab along with a demonstration.

In the afternoon, participants visited the Animal House and QC laboratory, led by Prof. Dr. Ankit Paneliya.

Additionally, an inspiring motivational lecture was delivered by international speaker Vaidya Asvin Barot. He is renowned for promoting the fundamental principles of Ayurveda globally and demonstrating their practical relevance in daily life. He also highlighted his revival of Agnikarma (Thermal Microcautery) for pain management, which played a significant role in establishing the Global Agnikarma Centre in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

**Highlights from Day 5 of the SAMSKARA-PG Orientation Program: Transforming into a Proficient Scholar**

Prof. Dr. Ganga Hadimani conducted a session titled "Workshop on Demonstration and Role Play of Podium Manners." The workshop focused on essential techniques and behaviours needed for practical public speaking and presentation skills.
