Breast cancer awareness program was organised by Dr. N D Desai faculty of medical sciences, Unit of women cell, DDU at Chopti sim, Aanganvadi area, Salun village to educate the women and girls of rural area about the disease's signs, symptoms, and the importance of early detection and timely treatment to reduce deaths and improve outcomes.

Department of pharmacology had successfully organised events for all Resident doctors, dental students and staff nurses on occasion of National Pharmacovigilance week”. Total 214 participants took part in this sensitisation program.

‘Awareness program on organ donation’ was organised in the classroom of Methodist Nursing College, Mission Road, Nadiad by Dr. N D Desai faculty of medical sciences, Unit of women cell, DDU on 29th August 2025 to educate nursing students regarding the organ donation procedure and how organ and tissvue donation helps to save and improve quality of life of the recipient people .
