It was a pleasure to be part of 'Diabetes Updates' a cme organised by IMA Nagpur. Thank you Dr. Sunil Ambulkar sir, Dr Vandana Kate ma'am President IMA, Dr. Kamalakar Pawar sir for inviting me for this wonderful scientific program. I delivered a presentation on Emergencies in Diabetes.

Thyroid disorders particularly hypothyroidism are very common in pregnancy.

It has a huge impact on maternal and fetal outcomes.

Untreated or inadequately treated hypothyroidism in pregnancy increases the risk of eclampsia, pre term delivery and post partum hemorrhage.

Similarly it may affect fetal growth and brain development.

Hence early diagnosis and treatment is the key in prevention of these complications.

It was a great pleasure to deliver a talk on "Hypothyroidism in pregnancy" at Lion's club Association of doctors, Nagpur.

Type 2 Diabetes is a chronic metabolic disorder, associated with many cardiovascular complications if not treated properly and timely. GLP 1 analogous are class of antidiabetic drugs which not only help to control the blood sugar levels but also provide you extra benefits in the form of cardiovascular, renal protection and weight loss.
Once injectable, but now available in oral formulation as Rybelsus (Semaglutide).
It was an honor to be a part of the workshop on oral Semaglutide molecule conducted by API Vidharbh chapter.
