November 2015, ADVENTURE ACHIEVERS in association with OCR Society, Nagpur will be organizing the first ever timed run "ORANGE CITY MARATHON: SMART NAGPUR, FIT NAGPUR" at Nagpur. A scenic loop on the mesmerizing greenery and major city junctions will be covered on the route. The run is divided into the following categories:
3KMS (FUN RUN)
6.5KMS (DREAM RUN)
10.5KMS (ENDURANCE RUN)
21KMS (ORANGE CITY RUN)
ADVENTURE ACHIEVERS is a group of friends who share the same passion, love, expertise and the zeal for unusual, exciting or daring experience which can be experienced with utmost safety. Hence they have successfully conceptualised and groomed into this amazing group called “ADVENTURE ACHIEVERS” where the team and associated sharing the same interests are increasing day by day. ORANGE CITY RUNNERS formed in 2013 by four passionate runners, is now a registered society. Coming from different walks of life, this fitness freaks decided to develop their fervour by becoming professional runners besides taking some time out to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Today, the OCR Society has nearly 90 members from varied fields including doctors and businessmen, who rigorously practice jogging, and some preselected runners then participate in various national and international marathons. The motto of the club is to promote ‘Injury Free Running’, while making Nagpur a fit city. The organising team is headed by Mitesh Rambhia. Mitesh brings with him adventure versatility and experience. At the National level he has represented Maharashtra in Table Tennis and participated in various National Level Car Rallies. Raid-de-Himalaya, Desert Storm, Moghul Road to name a few. The other adventure genre explored and continuously persued by Mitesh, is being a seasoned marathoner. He participates regularly in the Mumbai, Ladakh, Chennai, Goa marathons to name a few. He is also a trained and a Certified Senior Formula 1 Race Marshall of India.
