Inaugurated in the year 1990, this hospital is attached to The NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Center, as a teaching hospital.
The Hospital has been upgraded to a 981 bedded, medically equipped independent hospital.
The hospital located at Digdoh Hills serves the people of the nearby villages and industrial area. It has excellent facilities for hospitalization of indoor patients.
The specialty units of the hospital are well patronized by the people because of its location and its affordable charges. There is a twenty four hours casualty and disaster management facility. The hospital has been provided with facilities like twenty four hours Pathology and Blood Bank, ECG, EEG, C-ARM Radiology, Dialysis unit MRI, 16 slice CT Scan, Color Doppler, Ultra sonography, mammography X-ray and pathology investigations of diseases are also done routinely.
The Surgery Unit not only performs the routine surgeries but also has a Burn and Reconstructive Surgery unit, Urology and Plastic surgery. The General Medicine caters to adult diseases and has a well equipped ICU/ICCU
Ophthalmology department has facilities for regular eye care. Cataract, Glaucoma surgeries are undertaken. It boasts of a YAG laser eye treatment unit.
The Pediatrics department works for the welfare of the newborn, child as well as the Adolescent. It has a Neonatal Intensive care unit and a Pediatric Intensive care unit. The Hospital has Dentistry and Physiotherapy Departments.
The Hospital is the first hospital in Vidarbha to be awarded the certificate of “Mother friendly & Baby Friendly hospital.” The hospital has founded the Nagpur Chapter of Hemophilia Society in India for the treatment of Persons with Hemophilia.
