And at Home , everyone is equally important . May be it an Indian roller , a Langoor or a Bengal Tiger 🩷

What a fun time at Gothangaon jungle with my french client & her friends. As there was no tiger movement that day , the jungle was dancing . And they definitely got the beautiful pictures of indian wildlife .

Thanks for sharing the pics.

One thing a photographer should not forget is his camera , which I did first thing in the morning. But No regrets ! I could guide them better , making jeep stop at right spots first best shots .

The older generation definitely played the long game, while the new ones are living by that "no retreat, no surrender" energy.

⭐️Icons like Matkasur and Mowgli weren't looking for pointless beef; they were all about avoiding lethal conflicts.
⭐️If a fight looked like a lose-lose situation, they’d simply dip, recover, and wait for the perfect moment to slide back in and take what was theirs.

⭐️They were opportunistic in the best way—playing the long game to stay on top without catching too many strays.

⭐️But the new generation? Tigers like Chhota Matka and Collarwali’s cubs are built different.

⭐️They have zero chill and literally do not care about the consequences. They’re out here crashing out over territory, refusing to back down even when the stakes are life or death.

Our story got published in Loksatta . This is the story of a Queen , who raised all her 5 cubs successfully ❤️.

Every time we visited Gothangaon, we used to hope to see all 6 tigers but that never happened.

Our luck changed on the last safari of the last season, where cubs were like 5-6 months old. In our morning safari , as soon as we entered the gate , F2 started moving downhill towards us & all the little ones followed her & we got this beautiful dream shot .

Thanks Rakhi di for covering the story . ❤️
Thank you ❤️
& my safari buddies
and mentor sir .

The tigress who successfully raised her all 5 Cubs . Meet Queen of the Gothangaon sanctuary, Tigress F2.

🐅🌳 ( She is known as F2 because she was the second cub in the litter of the tigress known as Fairy )

🐅🌳In February, I went on a safari with my client, Nelly. At first, we saw a cub taking a nap by the roadside.

🌳🐅 Later, we heard that the F2 tigress—the Queen of the Jungle—was heading toward Gavati Lake. We headed there and waited for about 20 minutes, photographing birds and soaking in the jungle's beauty.

🌳🐅Suddenly, our guide spotted her emerging from the lush green forest to drink. I readied my camera and focused. Though she was far away and perfectly camouflaged in the yellow grass, I could tell she was observing us.

🌳🐅I captured a few shots before she settled down to sleep. We headed back to the gate with wonderful memories and full hearts.

I waited for four hours in the scorching May sun for this moment.

Hidden behind the tall grass, she slept as I watched and waited for her to approach the water’s edge just as the sun began to dip.

To my surprise, Weera played her part perfectly.
I was poised and ready—this was the shot I’d been waiting for.

Location: kolara , Tadoba National Park.

Are you a cat person or a Dog person?

I was very comfortable with dogs & being able to communicate with them, I had so much fun & beautiful moments with all of my dogs .

I never used to consider myself a cat person, but recently, cats have started seeking me out—it feels like they chose me.

Having them sleep in my arms like infants has been such a rewarding experience.

I've begun to realize that domestic cat behavior isn't all that different from that of big cats, like tigers.
To understand them better, I've been spending time with the kittens in my building. I play with them, feed them, and watch them reach their milestones—whether it's learning to climb trees, wrestling with their siblings, or instinctively hiding when they sense a threat.

It’s truly a beautiful process to witness.

Gothangaon is scorching but the F2 cubs are unbothered.

Found them under the canopy pulling a total "tangled siesta" move. Honestly, it’s a whole mood—even the future kings of the forest need a scheduled nap with the siblings.

I started my birthday exactly how I envisioned: yoga in the woods followed by a peaceful. 🌲🧘‍♀️

Huge thanks to —breathwork and Acro yoga were the perfect highlights! We capped it off with a massive brunch of Kheema Pav and waffles (balance, right?).

Also, a massive shoutout to for saving the day with a last-minute cake. It was so chocolatey and delicious! 🎂✨
