World Arthritis Day is celebrated every year on October 12 around the world to create awareness about the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle and encouraging early detection of arthritis.

Arthritis is an inflammation of the joints. It can affect one joint or multiple joints. There are more than 100 different types of arthritis, with different causes and treatment methods. The most common types are osteoarthritis (OA) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA).

Joint pain, stiffness, and swelling are the most common symptoms of arthritis. Medication, physiotherapy or sometimes surgery helps reduce symptoms and improve quality of life.

Foods for Arthritis

🐟Fatty fish - high in omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin D
🧄Garlic-Human and test-tube studies have found garlic may possess anti-inflammatory properties
🥔Ginger -reduces symptoms of arthritis.
🥦Broccoli -contains sulforaphane, which may have anti-inflammatory properties, according to test-tube studies.

🌛Karwa Chauth fasting is observed by the married women in India for the long life and well being of their husband

🌕Sleep early previous day
🌕Have nuts,sewai,fruits in Sargi specially pomegranate to keep your self hydrated and satieted
🌕Try to avoid caffeinated products
🌕Rest,relax as much as you can
🌕Enjoy your day
🌕Break your fast with kachi lassi
🌕Have milk based less sugary sweet
🌕Have lime juice to balance electrolytes
🌕Have dinner two to three hours before sleep
🌕Have light dinner like 1-2 chapati with dal,veg n salad
🌕Avoid fried items
🌕Avoid outside food
🌕After breaking fast have enough water till bedtime to balance for the whole day
