What is Allergic Rhinitis & Bronchitis? - One Healthcare

Allergic Rhinitis is an allergy-related condition that causes sneezing, runny nose, and congestion, while Bronchitis affects the lungs’ airways, leading to cough, mucus, and breathing trouble. Though both impact the respiratory system, their causes and treatments are different.

Pulmonary Hypertension doesn’t just affect the lungs — it affects daily life, confidence, and social interactions. Many patients reduce outings, avoid gatherings, and struggle with fatigue, breathlessness, and anxiety, leading to isolation and emotional stress.

Raising awareness is the first step. Early diagnosis, timely treatment, psychosocial support, and structured pulmonary rehabilitation can transform quality of life for people living with PH.

Grateful to The Indian Express for highlighting this important issue and helping spread awareness.

Honoured to be invited as a speaker at VIPCON 2025. I had the opportunity to speak on management of central airway disorders using cryotherapy and hot therapies—a topic close to my clinical practice in Interventional Pulmonology.

Grateful to the organising committee for the invitation and warm hospitality. Congratulations to Anil Rohankar sir, Dr Pariksh*t Thakare, and the entire team for delivering a smooth, well-organised, and academically strong conference.

First publication of 2026 📚

Pleased to begin 2026 with the publication of our case report, “Bronchoscopic cryobiopsy debulking of endobronchial myxoma — a rare presentation,” in The Egyptian Journal of Bronchology.

This was an exceptionally rare and technically challenging case of near-complete endobronchial obstruction, managed by bronchoscopic cryoextraction of a tumour measuring 3 cm in length, with fewer than 10 cases of endobronchial myxoma reported in the global literature.

The report highlights the expanding role of interventional pulmonology, particularly bronchoscopic cryotherapy and cryoextraction, which have become key modalities for airway tumour debulking and recanalisation, offering rapid symptom relief to the patient through a minimally invasive approach while avoiding the morbidity of surgical intervention.

Grateful to my co-authors and the entire team for their collaboration, precision, and academic commitment—an encouraging start to the new year with science leading the way.
