COLD VS. HOT SHOWERS POST WORKOUT

Cold water immersion has numerous benefits including reducing inflammation but that is not a good thing post work out.

�A 2019 study found that participants gained less muscle over 7 weeks when they had cold-water immersion post workout. Cold therapy after training impairs the anabolic signaling that is required for optimal muscle growth.��Instead, research suggests heat therapy post workout is better. You can use a sauna or just take a warm shower.
