The battle is half won. As the saying goes - Well begun is half done. In the last 20 days India has fought with exemplary enthusiasm. The fundamentally Indian traits and psyche which are not visible anywhere else in the world have proven to be very useful in fighting the disaster. Following are the conclusions and lessons that can be drawn from the events of the past 20 days :
1. Understand your limitations. We know the limitations of our health care system and huge population.
2. Paisa hi sabkuch nahi hai. Extraordinary leadership of saint Modi, who believes in the uniquely Indian psyche of giving importance to "Atmanand" over material things. He took a sagacious decision in the context of what to prioritize between the economy and the lives of people.
3. Spiritual bankruptcy. The West has shown us how spiritual bankruptcy can affect a Nation. The overconfidence in one's own greatness, thinking that you know everything there is to know in the world and nothing can happen to me syndrome has affected thousands of lives.
