The President of Anajori Development Society had the honour of meeting Prof. Dr. Niranjan Kalita, Vice Chancellor, Assam Veterinary University.
During the meeting, a brief activity report was formally handed over, highlighting the initiatives undertaken under the Women Empowerment Project through Assam Hill Goat rearing. The project was supported by State Innovation & Transformation Aayog, Assam and jointly implemented under the expert guidance of Dr. Dipak Bhuyan, Chief Scientist, Goat Research Station, Burnihat,AAU focusing on livelihood enhancement, scientific goat farming, and income generation for rural women.
The President also conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to Prof. Dr. Niranjan Kalita on his new assignment as Vice Chancellor, expressing confidence that his leadership will further strengthen veterinary education, research, and community-linked development in Assam.
We look forward to continued collaboration for empowering communities through science-based livestock interventions.

Awareness meeting among Elderly on Geriatric care.
On 27th December 2025, Anajori Development Society successfully organized an Awareness Meeting on Geriatric Care at Swahid Bhawan,Near Ganesh Mandir,Nalbari.
The session was well explained by experts, focusing on the everyday health, emotional, and social challenges faced by senior citizens. Around 30 elderly participants actively took part in the meeting and openly shared their present issues, including chronic illnesses, mobility difficulties, medication management, loneliness, and access to healthcare services.
The interaction-based discussion created a safe and respectful space where elders felt heard and valued. Experts provided practical guidance on healthy ageing, preventive care, nutrition, mental well-being, and the importance of family and community support.
This initiative reflects Anajori Development Society’s continued commitment to promoting dignity, awareness, and quality of life for the elderly through community-driven health education.

সভাখনত বিশেষজ্ঞসকলৰ দ্বাৰা বৃদ্ধলোকসকলে দৈনন্দিন জীৱনত সন্মুখীন হোৱা স্বাস্থ্যজনিত, মানসিক আৰু সামাজিক সমস্যাসমূহ সহজ আৰু স্পষ্ট ভাষাত ব্যাখ্যা কৰা হয়। প্ৰায় ৩০ গৰাকী বায়োজ্যস্থ্য লোকে এই সভাত সক্ৰিয়ভাৱে অংশগ্ৰহণ কৰি নিজৰ বৰ্তমান সমস্যাসমূহ যেনে— দীৰ্ঘদিনীয়া ৰোগ, চলাচলত অসুবিধা, ঔষধ ব্যৱস্থাপনা, একাকীত্ব আৰু স্বাস্থ্যসেৱা লাভৰ সমস্যা আদিৰ বিষয়ে মুকলিভাৱে মত প্ৰকাশ কৰে।

এনাজৰী উন্নয়ন সমিতিৰ সহযোগত সমন্বয় পুথিভঁৰাল, বিহামপুৰ (চামতা), নলবাৰীৰ সপ্তদশ বৰ্ষপূৰ্তিৰ মূল অনুষ্ঠানৰ অংশ হিচাপে আজি বিদ্যালয় পৰ্যায়ত এক কুইজ প্ৰতিযোগিতা সফলভাৱে সম্পন্ন হয়। নলবাৰী আৰু ইয়াৰ দাঁতিকাষৰীয়া জিলাসমূহৰ পৰা প্ৰায় ৬০ গৰাকী প্ৰতিযোগীয়ে অংশগ্ৰহণ কৰি অনুষ্ঠানটো অধিক অৰ্থবহ কৰি তোলে।

প্ৰতিষ্ঠিত কুইজ মাষ্টাৰ দেৰাজুদ্দিন আহমেদে সুকৌশলে আঁত ধৰা এই কুইজ প্ৰতিযোগিতাখনৰ শুভ উদ্বোধন কৰে এনাজৰী উন্নয়ন সমিতিৰ সভাপতি মতিউৰ ৰহমানে। অনুষ্ঠানটোত এনাজৰী উন্নয়ন সমিতিৰ উপসভাপতি বাসন্তা বৈষ্য, সম্পাদক তাজিমূল হক, উপদেষ্টা জামানুল ইছলামৰ লগতে কাৰ্যালয় কাৰিকৰী সহায়ক ৰচিদুল জামান উপস্থিত থাকে।

Quiz Competition on the Occasion of the 17th Foundation Day of Samanwaya Puthibharal

With the support of Anajori Development Society, the Samanwaya Puthibharal, Bihampur (Chamta), Nalbari successfully organized a school-level quiz competition today as a part of its 17th Foundation Day celebrations. Around 60 participants from Nalbari district and its adjoining areas took part in the competition, making the event lively and meaningful.

The quiz competition was efficiently conducted by renowned quiz master Derajuddin Ahmed. The programme was formally inaugurated by Mr. Matiur Rahman, President of Anajori Development Society. The event was also graced by the presence of Ms. Basanta Baishya (Vice President), Mr. Tajimul Haque (Secretary), Mr. Jamanul Islam (Advisor), and Mr. Rashidul Zaman (Office Technical Assistant) of Anajori Development Society.

Results of the Quiz Competition:
• First Prize: Himlina Baruah and Manjistha Kumar
• Second Prize: Dhritiraj Sarma and Himangshu Deka
• Third Prize: Subhrajit Bujarbaruah and Raktim Bharadwaj

In addition, three teams securing fourth to sixth positions were also awarded. The teams securing first, second, and third positions were felicitated with cash prizes, books, and certificates.

Through such initiatives, Anajori Development Society has once again reaffirmed its commitment to education, child development, promotion of reading habits, and social responsibility. The programme aims to empower children and adolescents from marginalized communities by guiding them towards knowledge, values, and creativity.

Anajori Development Society also expressed its special gratitude to Mr. Abedur Rahman, Hon’ble Secretary of Samanwaya Puthibharal, and Mr. Nurul Islam, Working President, for their dedicated efforts in successfully organizing today’s programme.

Launch of the Goat Vaccination Campaign

Anajori Development Society has initiated the vaccination campaign against Enterotoxemia and PPR (Peste des Petits Ruminants), which has been carried out for the past five years. The aim of this campaign is to protect the health of goats and sheep in our region and to strengthen the livelihoods of our farmers.

These two diseases are extremely dangerous, and without timely vaccination, there is a high possibility of sudden illness or major loss. Through this initiative, we are moving toward building healthier livestock, stable income, and a better future for farmers.

💉 Importance of These Two Vaccines

Enterotoxemia Vaccine: Prevents sudden death caused by clostridial bacteria; this vaccine is particularly important during changes in feed.

PPR Vaccine: Provides protection against a highly contagious viral disease that causes fever, diarrhea, pneumonia, and high mortality.
