Sudden rise of COVID-19 cases in twin districts of Chenab region in one day.

Mountainous districts Kishtwar and Doda on sunday have seen sudden rise in Covid postive cases. As per sources 23 persons including 7 drivers tested COVID +ve at Assar Doda sampling collection center. Out of these 14 are from Bhaderwah, 2 from Gundow all already in Quarantine.
Whereas 4 cases reported positive from Kishtwar and all are said to be drivers. All have been traced as they were not in quarantine but their contacts are yet to be traced out. It seems that with the relaxation of travel and transport beside goods COVID-19 is also being transported. It is pertinent to mention here that number of positive cases in Ramban was already very high now the other two districts have also witnessed sudden spurt of COVID-19 cases. People have shown serious concern and expect that administration will take some immediate step to prevent the spread of the deadly virus in this region.
