Kharvas / Cheek - A "SuperFood" With Immeaseasurable Benefits
Kharvas is a traditional Maharashtrian sweet dish.
It is sweet pudding made from colostrum.

Recipe

250 ml Lactating Cows milk (colostrum)
60 ml Milk
Jaggery as per Taste
For Garnishing :- Few Saffron Strands , Nutmeg & Cardamom powder.

Procedure:-
1.Mix normal milk & colostrum (Lactating cows milk) in a Bowl
2.Add jaggery / organic jaggery powder
3.Mix well until jaggery melts completely
4.Add Nutmeg powder . Cardamom powder.
5.Pour this mixture in a deep plate. Sprinkle few saffron strands.
cover the plate or steaming tin & allow it to steam for 15-20 min.
(Steamer can also be used)
6.Use a knife or toothpick to check if its ready.Take it Off Flame once done
7.Allow it to cool.
8.Cut it into square shaped pieces.
The Delicacy is ready to serve.
