For the first time, Nashik will host ASCO Direct GI — and I’m personally inviting every oncologist in our region to be part of it.
Over the years, we’ve all travelled to learn, update, and recalibrate our practice. This time, I wanted to do something different: bring world-class GI oncology education closer to home—to the clinicians who are in the trenches every day, making decisions that directly shape outcomes.
ASCO Direct GI Symposium (Nashik) is not “another conference.”
It is a focused, evidence-led forum designed to help us translate the latest GI cancer insights into what truly matters: better choices, better sequencing, better patient outcomes.
Why this matters to me:
In GI cancers, small improvements in judgement create big changes in survival and quality of life.
If we can align as a community on updated standards, multidisciplinary thinking, and practical decision-making—patients across our region benefit.
