A straddle split, also known as a wide-angle seated forward bend (Upavistha Konasana), is a yoga pose that involves sitting on the floor with your legs spread apart to form a “V” shape:

To perform a straddle split, you should:

✅Have open hips

✅Rotate your pelvis forward

✅Have flexible hamstrings

✅Point your toes and knees upwards

✅Keep your pelvis in an anatomical position, with the hip bones and p***c bone facing forward

✅Place the weight of your body on your sit bones, not your legs
