The inception of Poets Corner was not incidental nor was it an indulgence. It was formed for a purpose and that purpose brought many poets together to form a huge conglomeration. Since its advent, PC has published over 200 poets in 13 anthologies in both English and Hindi. Poets Corner is committed to revive and promote poetry, thus ensuring that poetry is given its due, and poets get recognition and exposure. It works with emerging and unpublished poets, giving them a chance to share space with eminent poets in Poets Corner anthologies. Poetry is the purest form of art. Its roots in India are stronger than anywhere else in the world. But unfortunately, its popularity saw a decline in last few decades. Poets Corner dedicates all its efforts in bringing back its lost glory. And the efforts have to be started at the base level .Hence, Poets Corner founded its children's wing –NewLeaf Poets Club. This group works with school children and helps them in getting published..It also guides children and hones their skills
Poets Corner recognizes the fact that poetry needs to be effectively marketed. It has to be made accessible to the wider range of readers. Thus PC works towards bringing poetry out in the open by holding various online competitions, poetry reading events, book launches etc
Poets corner are the founders and organizers of Delhi Poetry Festival- a first of its kinds in the capital city of Delhi. Rhymesters - Rhymesters, under Poets Corner banner provides a link between publishers and poets. It helps and guides poets in getting their anthologies published. Poets are given a book launch and online promotion for their anthology.
