Join us to celebrate Diwali together within the community of the heart at Advait Ashram. Diwali is the traditional festival celebrating the light.
The “light” celebrated in Diwali is the unchanging awareness that illuminates all experiences. In this space of stillness and presence, we honor the dissolution of illusion and duality. There is no battle between light and darkness — only the revelation of what has always been true: the Self as pure awareness. Through silence, reflection, and the symbolic lighting of lamps, we turn inward to rediscover the undivided essence that animates all beings.
Diwali this year falls on October 20-21. That date corresponds to Amavasya (new moon) in the Hindu lunar month of Kartika. Diwali is celebrated on this darkest night of the month, symbolizing the lighting of inner and outer lamps in the midst of darkness.
We invite you to join us in our ceremonial space on Zoom for a live transmission with the Advait Ashram Acharyas, Jagadānanda, Yaari Ma, Turiyatita Ma and Luzie. Join with us to bring alight your inner and outer lights, merging the duality into divine unity.
