Chinku- Uncle ek little hearts ka packet dena,
Minku- Tu to diet pe hai na, aur little hearts to sugar coated hote hain!
Chinku- Bro 1 little heart na ek digestive biscuit se zyada better hai. Ye dekh Dietitian Mac ki post.

Kitna tadpaya aapne khud ko apne favourite little hearts na khake? Ye sochke that they are glazed with sugar! Kitna? Hume pata hai yaar. But ab apke sath aur na-insafi nahi hone denge! So, we went ahead and compared the ‘healthy’ digestive biscuits with Little hearts biscuits.

We found out that 1 little heart vala biscuit contains less calories, fat, carbs and sugar than digestive biscuits.
1. By eating digestive biscuits, you will gain 88 calories more than by eating 3 little hearts instead.
2. 3 digestive biscuits have almost 4 times more carbs than 3 little hearts. Same is the case with fat.
3. What about sugar? Little hearts ki to coating hi cheeni ki hoti hai bhai. Are they still have 2.84 g less sugar than 3 digestive biscuits!

Macronutrients ko chhod ke agar ingredients b dekhe jae na, to digestive biscuits are no healthy food. 43% to maida hi hai inme, keval 15% atta hai. Bacha kya? Palm oil, sugar syrup, raising agents Falana dhikana!

BOTTOMLINE- We are not saying little hearts kafi healthy hain to jitna marzi khao. They are also made by the deadly trio of maida, sugar and palm oil only! BEWARE.

Which fruit comes to your mind when we say Vitamin C? 🍊🧡

For most of us, the answer will be lemon or orange.
Orange and lemon is very well marketed and promoted as one of the best sources of Vitamin C. You go to any restaurant hotel or any food joint, Orange is promoted as one of the richest sources of Vitamin C. 🍊

What if we tell you that orange is not the best source of Vitamin C. We have consumed this fruit we are going to tell you about since our childhood especially the nostalgic memories of its tree. This is the fruit that our parents have been cautious about letting their kids consume due to the worms found in this fruit.
Any guesses?
The answer is GUAVA. 💚

You will be shocked to know that Guava has Vitamin C 5 times more than orange. It's not just Vitamin C, Guava has a variety of benefits that can certainly boost your health. Here are some of the benefits you can actually avail:

1. Helps in weight loss- A small guava can have just 30-60 Kcals with a very high amount of fiber and minerals which makes it a perfect snack for your hunger pangs.

2. Helps in relieving pain during menstrual cycles- Yes having guava during your menstruation cycles can relieve your menstrual cramps if consumed on daily basis during your me**es.

3. Helps in lowering your blood sugar levels- As Guava is rich in fiber, it lowers the insulin in your body and does not let your blood sugar level rise suddenly.

4. Good for your heart- Guava is full of antioxidants, potassium and fiber which helps in decreasing LDL cholesterol thereby decreasing the chances of stroke or risk of heart diseases.

5. Your solution for constipation - Eating more guavas may aid healthy bowel movements and help you to prevent constipation.

BOTTOM LINE:

Guava is an Indian superfood that is often ignored by us and no one considers it as a healthy fruit option. People are nowadays switching to posh fruits like avocados, cranberries, blueberries, etc. thinking that they are weight loss friendly super fruits from the West ignoring our Desi super fruits. Make sure that you do not consume Guava juice/ or tetra juice in the name of guava as they may be highly processed loaded with lots of sugar and preservatives. You can add guava to your chaat, salad or carry it along while travelling or at your workplace. 💚

PS- Look for the worms
