Strong schools are built on strong leadership - but leadership should never be a journey taken alone.

The Transformational School Leadership JEPC ECHO Program created a shared learning space for principals across Jharkhand. Using ’s hub-and-spoke model, school leaders came together through virtual sessions to reflect on real challenges, learn from peers and experts, and strengthen their approach to holistic school management.

From sustained engagement to growing confidence and a clear intent to apply learnings on the ground, the program reinforced one powerful truth: when leadership learning is relevant, collaborative, and action-oriented, meaningful change follows.

Tuberculosis is more than a statistic, it is a disease shaped by inequity, access, and system readiness. While India has made important strides in expanding TB services, the disease continues to challenge public health because early diagnosis is not always timely, care is not always continuous, and vulnerable populations often fall through the cracks.

TB thrives where health systems are stretched, where social and economic barriers delay care-seeking, and where patients struggle to stay connected to treatment over time. Addressing TB therefore requires more than medical solutions, it demands stronger healthcare capacity, skilled and supported frontline workers, and collaboration across sectors to ensure that every person with TB is reached early and supported throughout their care journey.

India’s path to ending TB depends on closing these gaps, strengthening systems, and putting people at the centre of care.
