Yesterday on our 71st Republic Day 🇮🇳🇮🇳Team Jaago Bharat organised an educational trip to the Surajpur Wetland, Greater Noidawith Grads International School, Greater Noida.
The trip was organised in collaboration with team SAFE.
Surajpur Wetland, famous for its migratory birds is an undiscovered paradise that is in a dire need for protection.

The event began with flag hoisting followed by an engaging bird watching session. The children really enjoyed the session and a small quiz was conducted having general questions regarding the wetland and migratory birds. All children were extremely enthusiastic and reciprocated their love for
nature and its miracles.
The quiz winners were rewarded with seed pen which can be planted as a seed after use.

Mr. Vikrant Tongad from team SAFE graced the children and the team with his wise words regarding the
wetland and its importance.
The children spent their time amongst nature andalso experienced becoming aware and responsible citizens of the future. Certificates and refreshments were given after the trip.
We are glad that the children chose to spend such an important day with nature and with
inquisitive minds such as theirs, it was our pleasure to instil awareness in them.

We are really thankful to everyone who made this event successful.😃😄😇

This Republic Day, Jaago Bharat team will be celebrating the day with an educational tour to the Surajpur Wetlands with the students of Grads International School, Greater Noida.
A holistic experience where the students will be taken to the Wetlands and learn about the birds residing in and migrating to these wetlands. It is our initiative to make the coming generation learn about the natural habitat and we believe it is a great way to celebrate this day.

After all, nature is the best gift to human kind by the almighty. Let's preserve this gift!

Last week event :
A great initiative by ji and to plant trees from Surajpur wetlands to nearby ganga stretch point Garhmukhteshwar by planting one tree within each km and each tree will be monitored by someone local who will take the responsibility.

"A smile is the best gift you can give and receive." Jaago Bharat completed it's 2nd phase of project S.M.I.L.E. on 25th December 2019. An amount of Rs. 15,120 was given to St. Jude India child care center, which is working for the treatment of children suffering from cancer.

It was the best way for all of us to celebrate this Christmas!
We also received a thank you note from the kids. We feel very lucky to work for the cause and bring a smile on these young faces.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the people who contributed their part in project S.M.I.LE. and helped us to work for the little souls suffering from cancer just to make a little difference in their lives and society. We are extremely thankful to all of you 😊

SAFE organization and Jaago Bharat team and other volunteers working towards different environmental problems, today contributed in cleaning a part of wetland in Surajpur, Greater Noida. It was a great experience for everyone.
Mrs. Richa from "Zindagi with Richa" came to cover this event and make a short documentary film on it, which will soon be release on her YouTube channel.
We like to extend our gratitude to each and everyone who were part of this.

We are very happy to announce that we participated in an awareness march organised by Humara kartavya on 17-11-19 to make people aware about social issues like water crisis, environment degradation and garbage related issues. The march was organised from Noida sec-21 to sec-26 towards the residence of Mr. Pankaj Singh ji(MLA, Noida). It was a great and successful event.
