A mother. A daughter. A bond that time cannot alter.
Moments shared by Mrs. Meena Bhattacharjee and Neela remind us that love does not fade — it adapts, it endures, it stays.

At Hope Ek ASHA, we don’t just provide care — we preserve bonds.
Because this is more than a facility… it’s a home where families continue to belong.

Journey Back in Time: A Musical Theatre Day at A.S.H.A.

How do you recreate the joy of a movie theatre for those who can’t go anymore? You bring the stage to them.

Our Musical Theatre Day was thoughtfully designed as a sensory journey—recreating favourite songs and dialogues of legendary actors to awaken familiarity, stimulate memories, and spark joy.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the M.Sc. Nursing students from Holy Family College of Nursing, who brought this concept to life with such warmth, effort, and enthusiasm. The smiles, laughter, and engagement on our residents’ faces said it all—it was truly a day of music, memories, and meaningful connection.

At A.S.H.A., we believe that even the smallest moments of recognition and joy can create a powerful impact.

Love is expressed through patience, and caring acts every day.

No one knows this better than Mr. M. K. Sarna, whose commitment to caring for his wife is reflected in their enduring love.

By bringing her to Hope Ek A.S.H.A., he created opportunities for connection and engagement. Watching her engage, participate, and experience these moments has been a reminder that care shared with love creates meaningful change.

It is a privilege to walk alongside families and support both the person living with dementia and the caregiver who stands beside them with unwavering devotion.

With gratitude,
Team Hope Ek A.S.H.A.

Dementia Care & Management Workshop by Hope Ek A.S.H.A.

This week, Hope Ek A.S.H.A. welcomed M.Sc. Nursing students from ILBS and Holy Family Hospital, New Delhi, for an in-depth workshop on dementia care and management—designed to bridge clinical understanding with compassionate practice.

The workshop began with a valuable session by Dr. Navdeep Kumar, Senior Consultant in Neurology at Indo Gulf Hospital, who provided clinical insights into dementia, its progression, and evidence-based management approaches, grounding the discussion in medical understanding.

Building on this foundation, Jasmine Chawla, Chief Operating Officer, introduced students to dementia care at A.S.H.A. and emphasised the importance of a multidisciplinary team in delivering holistic, person-centred care.

The focus then shifted to psychosocial aspects as Sejal Chopra, Counselling Psychologist, explored practical strategies for memory stimulation, behaviour management, and environmental modifications that enhance daily functioning and quality of life for persons with dementia.

Concluding the session, Rita Sehgal, Care Director and Editor, addressed the human side of dementia care through caregiver training, family counselling, and caregiver stress management—highlighting the emotional realities faced by families and care teams alike.

Through shared learning and real-life perspectives, the workshop reinforced a core belief: dementia care is most effective when clinical knowledge is guided by empathy, dignity, and collaboration.

Training minds. Nurturing compassionate care.

Even when names fade, the feeling of being someone must never disappear.

At A.S.H.A., we design various activities that go beyond routine. Through our ‘I Love Myself’ activity, our residents expressed who they are, what they love, and how much they still remember.

This activity reminded us that identity and joy live inside us, no matter what we forget. We asked them their favourite colours, actors, hobbies, and more.

Each question was a way of saying, “YOU MATTER”.

Because dementia care is more than clinical.
It is emotional. Observational. Personal.

If you’re looking for a place where your loved one is seen, we are here for you.

At Hope Ek A.S.H.A., safety is where care begins.

We have designed our facility with safety systems that ensure residents feel free and dignified.

These systems are essential for individuals with Dementia, as their space demands precise attention to daily hygiene, proper surveillance, medical supervision, and constant care. Together, these measures empower and protect them.

Because at A.S.H.A., dignity and safety go hand in hand.

For many, winter means cozy moments.

For those living with Dementia, colder weather brings new challenges, often increasing anxiety and restlessness.

At Hope Ek Asha, we notice these changes and adjust activities accordingly.

We spend more time in sunlit spaces, play familiar music, serve warm drinks, and listen patiently to make our residents feel better. Every day, we find small ways to ease their worries and bring a sense of calm because we are their hope.

This winter, let’s remember -

Compassionate care requires daily understanding & warmth through every season.

Happy Lohri & Makar Sankranti

As we light the Lohri bonfire and watch Sankranti kites soar, we are reminded that each season brings new hope.

These festivals teaches us about the beauty of renewal, community, and caring for one another. At Hope Ek Asha, we bring these values into every day for our residents and caregivers through celebrations, sharing moments, and growing together.

Wishing everyone a season filled with gratitude, light, and hope for new beginnings.
