Wouldn't be great if we all had a coach or mentor constantly telling us what we need to hear as we walk through life? When top athletes are aiming for peak health and performance ,there is a good reason that they all have coaches but reality is that most people do not have access to good mentor or therapist all of time . On top of this most of us have internal dialogue tht sounds nothing like what we need to hear. One of most helpful questions we can ask ourselves during moments of self reflection is what do I need? Sometimes the answer to this question may be that we need to hear words of acceptance, support,or encouragement.learning to be voice tht you most need to hear is powerfull life skill that can help us get through the toughest of times.

Negative people find pleasure in believing that nothing can be changed or altered. They consider themselves as victims of their destiny. They find pleasure in cribbing and complaining about everything.

Its not their fault. Their personality is wired that way. They themselves don't realise that they are the ones who are spreading negativity. Rather they perceive themselves as part of a negative environment and blame everyone else for their negativity.

Now if they are your collegue, co-worker, a relative or a friend then you don't have to change them. You are not responsible for them. So in that case you need to learn positive ways of dealing with them.

But if they are in your close circle and you cannot avoid them or leave them then you need to have a different approach. You need to be more adaptive. As in you have to bring positivity by not letting negativity affect you. Yes, its hard but not impossible. When you fix this in your head then it comes naturally.

REMEMBER TO BE THE LIGHT:
💡Display positivity and enthusiasm.
💡Focus on the positive aspect of an experience. If a person is brooding on the past then you can ask them questions that might point out positive aspect in that experience.. like- what are some good things that came out of that experience?
💡 Bring happiness to the relationship by being cheerful. Just laugh it out and remain unaffected.
💡Always do nice things.
💡Complement negative people and be genuine with them.

Only positivity can kill negativity.
These small gestures will chip away their negativity and they might eventually start finding joy in every situation.

It's easy to undervalue those small moment of joy .but thy accumulate over time to change the feel of things .so ,each day ,look for those small moments of joy nd relish in them your mental health will thank u for it.

Sometimes when we reflect on our past we think about things we could have done differently. When this happens it can leave us feeling guilty or regretful. While this can be an unpleasant experience try to remember tht you did the best you could with wht you had at that time.
Try to practice self compassion and be kind to your self🌱
